Over the many years, I have worked for James (Level Builders LLC.), I have come to appreciate the way he is oriented to details, from the beginning to end of a project. He listens to the sub-contractors and comes up with great solution to their needs. One of the things I’m pleased about is, I have never had to fix damage to a pre-wire… “Awesome!” This also makes it easier to layer in any wire add-ons to the project from the client. Every step of this is verified, including all add-on changes. The Clients are always happy at end of the project and this makes my job of closing out the smart house electronics go so smoothly. The decision to gut one’s home for a complete renovation is a very difficult one and often puts marriages to the test. It may seem rather silly, but the first meeting with a general contractor who has been referred to you, is as nerve wracking as that first date that’s been set up by your best friend. Several years ago we sustained a devastating tragedy to the bottom floor of our home due to a flood while we were out of town. From walls to flooring to cabinetry to anything you can imagine it had to be removed. We were introduced to James Kohl by a good friend who does high-end real estate and is very picky about making sure the best of the best work is done for his clients.
James and his team were very responsive in coming out and assessing the damage and loss and proposing a plan of action to get us back in our home. James even took me to his own home to look at some recommendations and show the work that he’s capable of. It was greatly appreciated and impressive. Over a year later we were able to get back into our home and could not be happier with the end product. In fact the person from our insurance company who did the inspections commented that the sheet rock repair, painting, flooring and all finishes were the best she has ever seen and she’s inspected hundreds and hundreds of homes.
